Why do I have hairfall?
For two years already, I've been suffering from mild hair fall. I really don't know what to do with this. I've tried anti-dandruff shampoos, and other stuffs but still it didn't work. What should I do? What are the cause of such occurence
Don't be angry.Don't be irritated.Anger and irritation bring about early aging.
When people get angry when the blood flood the face, then low Blood Oxygen, toxins increased. The toxins stimulate hair follicles, causing hair follicles around the level of inflammation, ranging from deep to produce pigmentation and other skin problems.Angry not only damage the skin, but also sad, Shang Wei, lung injury, liver injury, etc.Recommended when you encounter an unhappy time, may wish to separate the legs, breathing, hands flat move. This position can be adjusted physical condition, so that toxins from your body.
Update on my Mother
As many of you may know, my mother first fell on the 10th and was diagnosed at discharge with rib fractures and skin tears and abrasions. On the 12th, she appeared to have symptoms of a stroke, so we called 911. They found that her congestive heart failure had taken control, so to speak, and she may have had a mild heart attack combined with the high levels of co2 in her blood as well as the fluid around her heart. It has been touch and go since then with one bad episode on Tuesday causing them to call my cousin in Virginia - he's her POA. He told them that whatever she wants is what they are to do. She wants to live, so that is a relief.[em]whistle[/em]Sunday, she was ready to leave the hospital - talking about stopping at the diner on the way home (Mom LOVES eating out!) and was looking forward to being home. Tuesday morning, she couldn't breathe on her own to the extent that they called Mike, which is when he told them to do what she wanted. The bipap mask was put back on her. Every time they tried to remove it, her heart rate dropped and her blood oxygen dropped. But, they did take it off so she could eat lunch. They had planned to put it back on after lunch, but when...
Bad news about Mom.
I'm afraid things have taken a turn for the worse. Mom was in a lot of pain, which is understandable. She slept sitting up in her wheelchair because its seat is higher than the chair she usually sits in, so not as hard to get out of. The fact that she was in so much pain I totally expected. I had a commode chair ordered for her and we set it up next to the wheelchair so all she had to do was pivot from one to the other with my assistance. Then, in the wee hours of the morning yesterday, during one of her waking episodes, she began slurring her speech. Her mind didn't see affected, but her ability to enunciate, to pronounce her words clearly, had changed. She was lisping, then some words were garbled. To be honest, I wasn't sure if it was the pain meds or not. They had her on Oxycodone, which was knocking her out with each dose. But sun up, I began to notice that one side of her mouth wasn't so much drooping, because I actually was looking at her whole face to see if I saw "droop", as not working WITH the other side. When she talked, she talked out of one side only. Her aide arrived early and she noticed it too. Mom wasn't able to feed herself as she had been the day before. I...
My mother fell today and was admitted to the hospital - for pneumonia.
Mom didn't feel too well this morning, so after breakfast, she went to lie down. Then her lunch came (Meals on Wheels), so she went out to eat. She did really well, eating almost every bit of it. I had lunch then, too, and when we were both done, she sent back into the bedroom and I went into mine. I heard something fall - it sounded like her walker with her oxygen tank in it. I could see it on the floor and was just getting up to go get it for her when she called out for me to come in to help her. I got in there and SHE was on the floor, too. She had reached for something and the walker went out from under her and she followed it down.[em]shocked[/em]Mom's 91, has had emphysema for almost 20 years, and is blind because of macular degeneration. So, a fall for her is a bit more than an inconvenience. I wanted to pick her up the way I was taught to pull people into our raft when we were white water rafting - under the arm pits and pull with your body. She wouldn't let me do anything to help get her up. She kept saying, just let me get settled....just let me get settled. So, I called next door, thinking someone would be home there, but there was no answer. Finally, I called the...
Are you Sleeping with your enemy?
Obstructive Sleep Apnea or OSA is a loud snoring which is interrupted by respiratory arrest (apnea) of more than 10 seconds in duration is obstructive sleep apnea. This is usually accompanied by a reduction in blood oxygen saturation followed by a microawakening to breath. In severe cases, hundreds of breathing pauses can occur every night. In obstructive panea, the throat closes during inhalation due to excessive relaxation of the pharynx muscles and the floor of the mouth, accompanied by increase tissue pressure from outside. This prevents air from entering the lungs, and the patient is threatened with suffocation. Somebody asked if OSA is dangerous and what are the effects? OSA has been associated with increase mortality ratio of 3.33. Sleep apnea has been associated with an upto 23-fold increased risk of heart atttack. A number of studies have now documented sleep apnea in over two-thirds of male stroke victims. In the last JNC-7 Guidelines of hypertension, OSA was the most common etiology for secondary hypertension demonstrated sleep apnea. In many Patients, treating sleep apnea can bring blood pressure readings under control: often with less medication. In some...
A Dying Person - Have you ever been a witness to one?
I had twice witnessed a person dying in front of me.The first time, it was my close friend. We had gone to buy a football and after buying a football we were returning home. We were excited as we had planned to play football that evening. It was an afternoon when we were returning with our new football. We were passing through a busy street with heavy traffic of heavy vehicles (trucks and buses) and we all were riding our bicycles. I was just 14 years old that time. Suddenly a truck came and knocked down my close friend. I stood shocked as it was just moments before that I had spoken to him and now he was in front of me, lying in a pool of blood. He was bleeding profusely from his head and then he lost his life within moments. It was such a gloomy day. I kept crying for hours even after I returned home. I can never forget that incident. Then it was turn of my mother, who was suffering from cancer and was hospitalised. I used to be at her bed-side during the nights also. Doctors had already declared that she has very few days of her life. It was early morning one day, I noticed that the blood oxygen indicator attached to my mother's body was continuously showing a decreasing...
Does you or your mate snore?
How does it effect your relationship? Are you both about ready to sleep in different rooms due to lack of sleep ------------------------- I am the snorer in this family, I admit it, I snor bad, I sound like a train going through the house. So many times I wake up and my husband is on the couch, not only due to the snoring, but he says I fight in my sleep, and I talk too. It really bothers him, I do not know I do it, I am asleep, all I know is in the morning, I am more tired than I was when I went to bed. ------------------------- Did you know that is a medical condion? Sleep Apnea, I am giving you some info on it, I do hope you read it, and take it to heart, sleep apnea can be deadly also. Please read.... ---------------------------- The most common kind of sleep apnea is called Obstructive Sleep Apnea Syndrome. Sleep apnea means "cessation of breath." It is characterized by repetitive episodes of upper airway obstruction that occur during sleep, usually associated with a reduction in blood oxygen saturation. In other words, the airway becomes obstructed at several possible sites. The upper airway can be obstructed by excess tissue in the airway, large tonsils, a large...
Was This an NDE???
I was just on another post and something came to mind about myself. Back in 1989 I got really sick with pneumonia and I almost died. I was in the ICU and I was pumped with all kinds of medicines to allow me to breath. My oxygen level was down below 50.. the blood oxygen... when they did a blood gas. I was really sick. I remember feeling like I was drifting and the next thing I knew I was on top of the bed. I was standing on top of my bed... I didn't. I felt I had left my body and I was ( don't think I'm crazy here) feeling colors. I was in a whole different realm where colors had texture and feeling each had their own frequency, if you will. These colors were the spirits or souls of other people, children and adults.. all colors in a river of light. I was on my bed and I could see this river off in the distance and I could hear the colors shouting and laughing with glee! i wanted so much to be a part of them, so I jumped off my bed like a diving board and flew through the air to become one with the river of colored lights. Just then nurses came in and started doing a sternal rub on me and causing painful stimuli for me to respond. I woke up and asked them what happened and...
News for Snorers: Testing for Apnea in Your Own Bed
People whose doctors suspect they suffer from sleep apnea may be able to find out without costly overnight sessions in a sleep lab. University of British Columbia researchers report in the Annals of Internal Medicine that the condition, which causes repeated breathing lapses and has been associated with a higher risk of heart disease and stroke, as well as daytime sleepiness and difficulty concentrating, can be identified as effectively using simple tests in the doctor's office and at home. The tests measure snoring episodes, systemic hypertension, and blood-oxygen levels, for example. The study looked at two groups: One received a lab-based, two-overnight diagnosis known as polysomnography, or PSG; the other submitted to a series of screens that quickly measure the probability of having moderate to severe sleep apnea. Treatment of the condition with continuous positive airway pressure, or CPAP, machines, which blow air into the mouth to keep breathing passages open.
